Weekly Tarotscope January 14 – January 20, 2018

This week’s card is the Father of Pentacles. The suit of Pentacles refers to worldly possessions and is ruled by the Earth element. These speak to issues of our home, money, and career. They reflect our generousity or greed.

In the predominantly b+w Wild Unknown deck, when the full spectrum of colours appear, it’s not by accident. This alludes to the notion of a full and multifaceted aspect of our character. A place within which we feel rounded and complete. The Father of Pentacles stands proud and emanates his energy outwards. He stands with his head held high with confidence and is steadfast.

To some, he may seem boring or predictable. But the Father of Pentacles’ strength lies in the fact that he’s steady and gentle, with an extremely calm temperament. Underneath it all, he’s incredibly passionate and prioritizes his family, job, and home. He’s entrepreneurial and diligent in his work. He works hard for his results and wants to make a big impact on the world.

For this third week of 2018, we’re being asked to look at how we can stand confidently in our pursuits. How can you move forward with something you’re passionate about? Where can you direct your energy to get the most results? What can you do to feel more well-rounded in your pursuits? This can be big or little things. There’s no need to put the weight of the world on your shoulders. Just move in the direction that feels good.

Until next week, xoxo
