Weekly Tarotscope March 4 – March 10, 2018

A pile of six swords sits in a heap under what appears to be a drenching rainfall. While at first, the six of swords may appear dark and dreary, it’s important to note the rainbow that arches high above, topped with a clear sky.

If we back up in the deck, we refer to the five of swords that embodies a spirit of hostility and battle within the self. The six of swords shows the aftermath. At this point, we can see the healing process beginning but there’s still work to be done on our road to recovery.

Stressful events often leave us reeling even after the actual events pass. At times like this, we need to check in and get the space we need to sort ourselves out. In this case, the swords are giving themselves the chance to really recover. While sometimes, we might want to force ourselves to let go and just get over something, sometimes we need to sit in the heap of things and accept the rain as it falls. Eventually, we’ll find our way to our own personal clearing and rainbow. We’re being asked to be patient with ourselves as we ride the remainder of this storm and navigate what can often be an uncomfortable process.

How can you rest, revitalize, and rejuvenate to get yourself back in a good place? What can you do to sit with what is passing in a way that supports your healing and finding your happy place again? The six of swords is also indicative of travel. Is there anywhere you can go to recalibrate? This can mean a trip or simply putting yourself into a different environment – some place where you feel at ease as the storm passes.

Until next week, xoxo
